Wright's Ferry 4x8" Brick Tiles, Running Bond Pattern

This thin brick veneer installation is in the Visitors Center of historic Pemberton Hall, a circa 1741 plantation home in Salisbury, MD. The buildings and surrounding land have been made into a park with miles of wetland trails and many day camps and outdoors groups often using the space for learning and play. The Visitors Center building is a reproduction tobacco barn used for educational purposes. Inglenook's 4x8" brick paver designs fit the ticket for the interior brick flooring that is both historic-looking and rugged enough for the pounding of many little feet. This project was commissioned by the Maryland Parks and recreation system.

Penn Wick
Chester County, PA
Wright's Ferry 4x8" Brick Tiles

Penn Wick was built by Philip Rogers in 1737, on a Penn Grant of 200 acres. Philip Rogers was an English Quaker, and gentleman farmer. The house is a stone Georgian, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Pictured are Inglenook Wright's Ferry brick tiles in the summer kitchen, which is the lower level of the house. This is where all the cooking was done in the 18th century.

Wine Tasting Bar Installation
Private Residence, Pennsylvania
Wright's Ferry 4x8" Brick Tiles

Inglenook's brick tile lends the perfect elegant and ancient look to this home's art gallery addition. The area faced with Inglenook Tile is intended as a wine tasting bar for parties and light entertaining. Because full size bricks and most thin brick veneers are very heavy, Inglenook's brick tile is one of the few products that could both look authentic and be safely supported in areas such as the installation's arched ceiling. This stunning installation has since inspired two other arched ceiling installations -- one with our 2x8" brick tile and the other with our 2x4's.
